Testimonials
"On Friday night I slept like a baby, and for want of a better word to describe it, I felt 'elated' on Saturday morning. I had a rosy glow to my complexion, instead of a pasty yellow one and no dark bags under my eyes - RESULT. Thank you Abigail for making my first visit so comfortable!"KH
"My constipation has improved so much since having Colonic Irrigation. I don't have that heavy, full feeling. my skin quality has really improved and I've lost a few pounds in weight. Thanks so much. I'll be back." NB

Colonic Hydrotherapy/Colonic Irrigation/Colonic Cleansing
Colonic Hydrotherapy is an internal bath to help cleanse the colon (large intestine) of poisons, gas, accumulated faecal matter and the mucus deposits. Filtered water is flushed gently through the colon to help expel waste products and compacted deposits.
Colonic Hydrotherapy is an integral part of a modern naturopathic approach to health and has been practised for thousands of years. It has its origins in ancient Egyptian, Chinese and Indian civilisations and it was used in UK hospitals until relatively recently. The Therapist
I have over 19 years experience in Complementary Medicine. I trained in Colonic Irrigation with the prestigious European College of Colon Hydrotherapy and have been a fully registered and accredited member of ARCH- the Association and Register of Colonic Hydrotherapists since 2004. My practice is regularly inspected by them.
The Colonic Association
The Association of Registered Colon Hydrotherapists was founded in 1987 and has been the leading body for Colonic Hydrotherapy since its inception. It represents the largest number of Colon Hydrotherapists in the UK and Europe.
Its aims are to maintain and strengthen professional standards of Colon Hydrotherapy in the UK and Europe, to achieve the best practice for therapists and assurance of safety for the public.
ARCH leads the way in the UK and the continent in developing, setting and maintaining standards in Colon Hydrotherapy. It has higher pre-requisites for training than other organisations and ARCH is the only association to carry out a clinic premises inspection scheme of ARCH registered members to ensure continuing high standards.
All ARCH members are required to undergo continuing professional development and keep up to date with relevant legislation.
In 2010, ARCH therapists became independently regulated by the CNHC ( the government recognised Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council) in order to assure confidence. Since 2004 ARCH has also been a member of The General Naturopathic Council (GNC) which was formed to map the way forward for future regulation of Naturopathy, including Colon Hydrotherapy. It is funded by its members and by the Princes' Fund for Integrated Medicine.
